Vanesa Ademi’s journey began over a year ago. As a young entrepreneur from London, she has created her unique niche in the beauty industry. Her focus is creating nails as a form of art. Vanesa brings out her creativity and passion through her work which is shown through her beautiful designs.

The 19-year-old first started doing nails for friends and family. With love and encouragement from those around her, she decided to turn her hobby into a business. While studying for a photography degree at the University of Westminster, Vanesa found time to explore her passion for nail art, developing her skills and own unique style.

Vanesa saw an opportunity to create her own creative space using an unused storage room in her house in April 2022. She put in effort and along with her dad she fixed it up and made it her own. Now it’s her favourite place to be. She says that sometimes without even realising she sits in there for hours.

In the future, Vanesa aspires to be a session manicurist, creating nail designs for photo shoots, fashion shows, and other events. As Vanesa sees it, it’s an opportunity for her to express her creativity and create art. A session manicurist's job is to provide manicures for the fashion industry, editorials and magazine shoots. And that is something she aspires to do, as she enjoys creating theme-inspired nails, and also experimenting with different styles. shown below are some of her works.

Vanesa’s story shows that it’s possible to turn a passion into a successful business. Starting a small business takes courage and determination. Her journey is also an inspiration to those thinking of starting a business of their own. And to know that a hobby can also be turned into a successful business.

Besides, her business, Vanesa has a few hobbies that she enjoys doing in her spare time. Some include listening to music, drying flowers, reading, cooking, and baking. As a student and a beginner, her advice to new starters is to buy a logbook to stay organised and keep track of everything.

Her small business journey is a reminder that sometimes, the most successful ventures start with a simple idea and a lot of heart.
