Unlike a review, report or opinion piece, a movie fact theory always excites the mind. As many on the internet have much to say about their theories, behind the scenes is where all the fun takes place. How a film is created, and the work put into the glamourous costumes and props is well magnificent. Yet, no one speaks much about it. Exciting enough talking through a film that took us through a rollercoaster of emotions is thrilling.

The Guardians of the Galaxy- vol 3, which premiered in Disney land on April 22nd, 2023, was rated one of the best volumes of the series. The film is a part of MCU phase five. In the volume we see MCU explore the story of ‘Rocket’ as some of you may know as the raccoon or Groot’s companion.

In some recent tweets after the release, the director pointed out that we in fact could understand what Groot says at the end as we are a part of the family, as the others always heard him that way and were certainly not amused as we were. In the beginning scene when Chris Pratt aka Star lord is passed out and Nebula must conduct the starting intro scene with him in her arms was in reality a wax statue of the Star lord and not him. He was indeed uncomfortable seeing himself lie lifeless ready to be in Nebula’s arms. The director in further interviews also confirmed to us why we saw Rocket being always obsessed with prosthetics, as it always reminded him of Floor, Lylla and Teeff. This heart-warming theory did make us understand Rocket more and why liking and wanting to have the prosthetics for himself made him feel closer to his dear late friends, while his guardian friends also saw it as his hobby to collect them. The beautiful and adorable dog Cosmo is a character in honour of the dog (Laika) which was launched into outer space in 1957 as a part of an experiment. She was on board the soviet satellite Sputnik 2. In the end, we do see Phyla Vell, one of the rescued children joining the new guardians of the galaxy family, who seems to have similar powers to Captain Marvel, we might just have to wait till her character is explored in the future movies to come. The Guardians costumes on the other hand have a great detail of work done on them, from body painting to body sculptures, to get the desired characters to look similar to the comics. We can see in the interview below of Prop Master Barry Gibbs and Costume Designer Alexandra Byrne sharing on their interview their journey of making each guardian unique.

However, in my opinion, Adam Warlock was a funny character and a fresh new face to the MCU. This keeps us waiting on what Marvel has in store for us next.
